Charlie Bears have created the NURSERY RHYME SERIES in the 2020 Collection, which re-creates characters from classic nursery rhymes. There are 3 pairs of iconic characters and JACK & JILL are one of them.
They are a Numbered Limited Edition of only 1000 worldwide, so will be very sought after.
They are also very good value for money, as you are getting 2 characters in each set!
The JACK & JILL rhyme dates back to at least the 18th century and exists wtih different numbers of verses and variations. The true origin of the rhyme is unknown, but is generally seen as a nonsense verse, as for example it tells of Jack & Jill going up the hill to fetch water, where this is usually found at the bottom of hills.
Jack & Jill by Charlie Bears are two cute mice, who will easily tumble into your affections, as they have adorable faces and are dressed in gorgoues outfits.
Jill is made from a delicate pinky/lilac fur, with lilac inner ears, a lilac hand-stitched nose and mouth and lilac stitched pads.She wears a pretty lilac and white dress and will wear a hat, which will be removeable (hat not showing in the image).......and she wouldn't be complete without her tail!!
She has bent legs, so will sit nicely on the edge of a shelf or chair...... without tumbling over!!
Jack is made from a creamy beige fur, with a similar colour in his inner ears and on his stitched pads. He has a silvery grey hand-stitched nose and mouth, which matches his smart dungarees and has a mousey tail. He will come with a removeable hat (not shown in this image) and has bent legs, so will also sit nicely.
