Alba is the worlds only known albino Orangutan. Rescued in 2017 from the village of Tanggirang in Borneo, she was being kept in a cage and found to be dehydrated, underweight and covered with parasites. Following the rescue, she spent nearly 2 years in recovery before being released into her natural habitat i the rainforest. he was spotted in 2020, little over a year after she had been released looking healthy and happy!
