Chaplain is named after Charlie Chaplin (although spelt differently),who was an English slapstick comic actor, filmaker and composer, who rose to fame during the era of silent film. He is known for having a small mustache, wearing a bowler hat and carrying a walking stick.
CHAPLAIN is a traditional style bear, who will make you smile, with his cheeky looking face. It looks like he has been in the wars, as he has several stitched repairs in the alpaca and mohair fur that makes you want to go "ouch!" and his muzzle has been shaved to reveal the light colour underneath.
He has a brown, hand-stitched nose, dark sparkly eyes and his canvas paw pads have some airbrushing around the edges.
